On a steamy summer morning on Stumpy Lake, I kayaked over to a busy osprey nest. The winged beasts were getting all of their chores in before the summer heat kicked in. All the action attracted a lot of attention to the nest. Someone decided to test their luck and see what the ospreys were capable of .
Nest repairs make for a busy morning.
Stocking up on snacks before a long day of sunbathing is essential.
In the right corner we have THE BEAST FROM THE EAST, B- B- B- BILLLLYYYYY THE BEAK BREAKER
Aaaaannnnd in the left corner we have THE PILLAGER OF PLUMAGE, RAZOR CLAW RANDY
OHHH! Billy swoops in checking out his competition, and realizes the odds are aginst him. His feathers have got to be rustled after having a near miss with THE Razor Claw Randy and his wingman CLEETUS THE... oh ... just Cleetus.
AHHHHH!! BILLY SWOOPS IN BUT RANDY JUST ISN'T QUICK ENOUGH!!!
Randy, taking corners that fast will loose you valuable airspeed!
Billy swoops back around and hes on a flight path of descruction, looking to pull off his signature BIRMINGHAM BEAK BREAKER!!! He will need some altitude for this!
OHHHHH RANDY SWOOPS LOW AND NAILS THE REVERSE PANCAKE PILE DRIVER!!!
That will teach Billy to keep that big nose away from REIGNING CHAMPION of the Bi-Weekly STUMPY LAKE SHOWDOWN, R- R- R- RANDY RAZOR CLAWWWWWWwww.
